Provides an online/distance learning strategy and vision for the Institute within the broader mission of the PCJ.
Promotes and markets the programs and courses to Catholic Bishops, Directors of Diaconate Programs, Permanent Deacons, and Laity.
Recruits and maintains qualified faculty and course designers.
Offers direction and support in the design, implementation, and assessment of the online courses and programs.
Manages the staff and budget of the JDI and assists in the funding of the Institute’s endeavors.
Participates in all activities related to accreditation for the Institute and its programming.
Provides timely reports to the Rector, his direct reports, and the appropriate committees of the Board of Trustees regarding the academic affairs, operations, and finances of the JDI.
Oversees the strategy and implementation of information technology needed to deliver the distance learning programming of the Institute.
Manages all activities related to the delivery and reporting for the Lilly Endowment Pathways II grant.
